FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Ryan Yadav Announces Candidacy for Florida State House
WINTER PARK, FL (May 12, 2015) – Local lawyer and native Central Floridian Ryan Neal Yadav has declared his candidacy for the Florida House of Representatives, District 30. House District 30 is comprised of portions of Orange and Seminole counties. Encouraged by his family, friends, and neighbors to bring a new voice to Tallahassee, Yadav stated “I would like to usher in reform to the Florida Legislature and our State Government by harkening back to the era of my political hero, former Governor Lawton Chiles, a time where lawmakers worked in a bi-partisan fashion with a sense of geniality and decorum”.
Yadav, a Democrat, is a vocal advocate for education who intends to reprioritize Florida’s education system as part of his overarching goal to bring efficiency back to the state budgeting process. He is a product of Seminole County schools, where his mother, Rebecca Yadav, is a 32 year veteran teacher. “The only task the Legislature is required to accomplish each session is to simply pass a budget,” Yadav said. “The House quit and walked out early during this year’s legislative session without passing a budget due to infighting, costing Floridians millions. It’s time to elect candidates that will get their job done.”
Yadav, who owns and operates his own law practice in Seminole County is also focused on strengthening our economy by advocating for small businesses and the middle class. “I understand what it takes to run a business from the ground up and I believe tax reform coupled with policies that protect the best interests of Florida’s workforce is essential to a vibrant economy” said Yadav. Yadav resides in Winter Park with his wife Allie who is employed in Resource Development with Valencia College. “If you ask anyone who knows me, they’ll tell you I have a true and profound love for Central Florida. I feel that I have a duty to give back to the community that has given me so much by running to improve Florida, allowing for my fellow citizens to more easily pursue happiness in the best state in our country, and in the best part of our state”.
